I was getting tired of having so many remote controls laying around, and had to figure out some way to minimize the clutter. Enter the Unified Remote app. I was able to the app, and right away, I was able to get rid of some of the remotes, because I always have my phone with me. Awesome idea guys!!!

This idea is nice in theory but what if someone is able to get ahold of your phone and or you somehow lose your phone. You would not be able to access the app. I misplace my phone all the time so this would not be the best app for me.

With Unified Remote for Windows you can connect your window phone simply by installing the app in your Pc as well as in your Phone, after that you need to select the type of address in the Dashboard section of the app, it can may be LAN or WAN, next you are going to copy the Host IP (Address) in your Phone in the section add server of the App and select the same IP that you are connect in your PC, after that your PC and phone will be connected and you would be able to see the options Remotes, Servers, settings, Status, Help and exit in the main screen of the App in your Phone.

Wasn’t confident in how to set up complicated web servers, but they made it easy to figure out step by step.
