Iometer is a sophisticated software for testing storage performance. It has a steep learning curve and requires a lot of configuration to use. I've used it a few times, and found it to be quite effective in measuring I/O performance. The configuration options are in-depth, and the reporting and analytics are great. Iometer also allows you to simulate multiple s which is a great way to test the performance of a system under load. The graphical interface is easy to navigate and understand however I found it a bit slow. All in all, I think Iometer is a powerful tool for testing storage performance and can be a great asset for s.
